Company History
BPMI has provided engineering and management as well as environmental expertise to major companies, large and small independents, individuals and government. Job types and size have varied according to the project and the client structure. The level of involvement has been based on the needs of the client ranging from comprehensive project management to specialized engineering support, with a strong emphasis on government regulatory expertise. BPMI was incorporated in 1985 and functions as a consulting and management firm, primarily in the environmental, petroleum and related industries. Between 1982 and 1985, it was operated as Banko Petroleum Management and/or David F. Banko, P.E. - Consultant. The principal in BPMI is David F. Banko, a Registered Professional Engineer (Petroleum) and a graduate – B.S. Civil Engineering.
Qualifications
We have extensive experience with Federal Agencies including Bureau of Land Management, Forest Service, Environmental Protection Agency as well as State Oil and Gas Commissions, Water Boards, Health Departments, Historical Preservation Organizations, Local County Governments, Commissioners, and Road Departments. BPMI has coordinated and represented clients with preparing Environmental Impact Statements and Environmental Assessments on behalf of the Bureau of Land Management and the US Forest Service, provided comments and input into Federal Rulemaking, acted as agent on behalf of clients dealing with various Federal, State, and Local Agencies obtaining Permits to Drill, and associated Permits including Rights-of-Way and Water Use.
